Jean-Christophe Novelli & Lacanche....

200 years of hand manufacturing range cookers on the same site in Brugundy gives Lacanche an unequalled pedigree and heritage, and makes them very French indeed!  Top Chef (and top hottie) Jean-Christophe Novelli loves his Vezelay.  . The Vezelay is the largest of the Lacanche ranges and yet as you’ll see on the Novelli site, remains a well proportioned, elegant cooker.  Yet it has four ovens!! This is the gentle giant of Lacanche.....   I love Novelli’s  Salamander (euphemism for nothing, I promise), which is pictured behind him on his website.  The Lacanche Salamander has a rotisserie grill; spit roasting is one of my favourite ways to cook meat, spit roast chicken...yum, spit roast pork...yum.  I always get hungry when I’m writing these things!  The Lacanche Salamander Grill is a truly unique product that takes grilling onto another level of performance and convenience, and it’s easy to clean, very important in my book.    Jean-Christophe and Lacanche have set up a partnership (does this mean I can meet him Sean?) and his Vezelay, finished in Provence yellow with chrome trim, takes pride of place in the Novelli Academy http://www.jeanchristophenovelli.com/Partnerships/Lacanche

New trims....Lacanche have just introduced to new trim options, Brushed Stainless Steel and Nickel.  These are now added to the already available Brass, Chrome and Matt Chrome trims.  The trim of your Lacanche refers to the finish of the control knobs, ends to the hand rail and door handles, the badge frame and drawer pulls.    Remember, the standard Lacanche trim is brass and chrome is also available at no extra cost.  Only the best for Lacanche ranges...even the burner caps are always brass.  Lacanche continues to extend the options, both aesthetic and practical, available to it’s cutomers.
